Now that Super Bowl 59 is officially in the books, it's officially time to focus on the NFL offseason. The Houston Texans, along with the rest of the league, have now turned their attention to free agency, trade market, and the draft, with the hopes of taking a big step forward next season.
The trade block is already loaded with talented stars. While Myles Garrett's trade request is understandably receiving most of the attention, the Rams WR Cooper Kupp should also have plenty of suitors on the market.
The Houston Texans are among those suitors. Especially after Adam Schefter revealed the Rams' potential asking price for Kupp before the Super Bowl, the Texans should be all over the rumored trade.

Texans Must Trade For Cooper Kupp After Adam Schefter Revealed Rams' LIkely Asking Price
Not only did Schefter report LA's willingness to pay some of Kupp's salary for next season, but he also revealed a relatively low asking price for the 31-year-old receiver. Basing it on his conversations with league sources, Schefter believes a fourth-round pick would be sufficient to acquire Kupp.
"The interesting part here is that there’s a lot of money involved, $20 million and a $7.5 million roster bonus due in the middle of March. The Rams are willing to pay some of that money. I think when you speak to people around the league, they see Keenan Allen go last year for a fourth-round pick, and they believe that Cooper Kupp is in a similar situation. "

Houston's biggest need this offseason is adding another elite wide receiver. After trading for Stefon Diggs last season, the Texans were hit with the injury bug last year, losing both Diggs and Tank Dell to season-ending injuries.
Now, the Texans have to make a tough decision on Diggs and his pending free agency. Their willingness to re-sign Diggs will depend on his market.
If Diggs proves to be out of Houston's asking price, bringing in Kupp and sticking him in the slot while having Dell and Nico Collins on the outside could be a perfect way to replace Diggs. Considering Kupp's connection with new offensive coordinator Nick Caley, this may be worth exploring.
