By T.A. Mock
The Houston Texans will face off against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Let’s take a look at three guys who will be key to winning this interstate showdown.
The Houston Texans finally won their first game of the season last year snapping the NFL’s longest losing streak. It is extremely safe to say that this season has not gone as many expected it to. Hopefully, the win last week can jumpstart a strong finish to the season.
The Texans will look to build off of the win last week this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. These two teams face off about once every four years so the last time they faced off was in 2014. Currently, the Texans are 1-3 against the Cowboys with the only victory coming in the team’s inaugural season in 2002.
The two teams will face off on NBC’s Sunday Night Football this week at 7:20 pm CT. This interstate rivalry rarely takes place, as stated above, and is always an epic showdown. Whoever wins this game will essentially have bragging rights for the next four years.
Deshaun Watson has improved his play every week and had the best game of his season this past week against the Colts. He was decisive and accurate slicing up the Colts defense all day long. He hit DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, and Keke Coutee nearly every time they were targeted, it was a phenomenal performance.
Of course, Watson will be extremely important to any Houston Texans victory. As will JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney. However, the following three guys will be of particular importance for the Texans beating the Cowboys this week. Let’s take a look.
