The Houston Texans secured their first victory of the season in week four against the Colts. Let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the win.

Well, my friends, the Houston Texans finally recorded their first win of the 2018 season. The successfully took down the division rival Colts in Indianapolis in overtime, 37-34. It was a stressful, ugly win but a win is a win.

Deshaun Watson had a wonderful game, throwing for 375 yards and running for 41 more. He also tallied three total touchdowns. He is finally looking like the guy that lit the NFL on fire in 2017. The rust is shaken off and he can officially be considered “back.”

After jumping out to an early 7-0 on a Jadeveon Clowney touchdown, the Colts tied it up before the Houston Texans scored 21 unanswered points. Going into halftime, the score was 28-10. Somehow, the team blew that lead and the game went into overtime 31-31.

Both teams successfully gained yards in overtime but stalled in field goal range. After swapping a couple more field goals, the Colts had the ball with less than two minutes. The Texans defense forced a fourth down in field goal reach yet the Colts went for it and failed. After a couple of completions by Watson, Ka’imi Fairbairn nailed a field goal to win it.

As I said, it was an ugly win but the Texans WON! The team is now 1-3 with some momentum moving forward. So, let’s take a look at what the team has to build off of and needs to work in this edition of the good, the bad, and the ugly.
