Starter: Clint Capela

It took nearly a month but Clint Capela finally got the contract he’s earned over the first four years of his career. He signed a five-year, $90 million deal and will remain a member of the Houston Rockets until he is 29.

Capela is a top-five center in the NBA and he is perfect for this offense. He runs the pick and roll extremely well and is a master screen setter. Capela can also legitimately cover all five positions on defense as well. He runs the floor better than any other big in the league. Having him at the five makes this team incrementally better.

Reserves: Nene, Zhou Qi

Nene is about as solid and reliable as they come. However, he rarely plays on back to back nights and plays in short bursts throughout the game. Though, he is still capable of solid defense and tertiary scoring.

Zhou Qi could be a dark horse candidate to be a solid contributor for this team. It has been three years since the Rockets drafted him and he has shown improvements each year and looked ready to be a steady player this past summer league.
