Why Bring This Up?

As a Houston Texans fan, I hate to bring this up myself. I really don’t want to express it. But, I do think it has to be mentioned because there are those that will question it. The “it” is the health of Watson.

Let’s be honest here. Take away the injury, Watson is the rookie of the year and the Houston Texans’ possibly make the playoffs. But unfortunately, the injury, which whoever tweeted about exchanging Watson’s knee for a World Series win, has piled up questions rather than answers.

Sure, everyone is excited about Watson’s return. But we’re talking about an ACL injury here. That’s worse than a broken leg. Some people have questioned whether Watson is going to have a bounceback and continue to get better following the injury. One in particular, who calls himself Nostradamus on his twitter account, decided to express his opinion in a negative way.

Response

Now, I can understand his concern about the injury. But the body not handling the NFL is a stretch to say. That’s left me with a few questions.

1. Did the Texans really draft Deshaun Watson?

2. Were we witnessing someone else do this?

3. Or this?

4. If that is not Deshaun Watson, then who did we get?

If you ask me, the guy is just upset that he doesn’t have Watson on his fantasy team.

How does Watson respond?

I hate the circus.
