Raise The Banner and Rings

So we got through two tough pickles to get involved in for Opening Day. But now, let’s turn our attention to the positive. Once we get through Texas, we’re back home against Baltimore. So just to give you guys a head’s up on what to expect, we’ll begin with a new uniform.

to this tweet, the Houston Astros will be wearing these uniforms for the first two home games of the season.

And for the first two nights, the Houston Astros will raise their banner (or pennant) to commemorate the 2017 season on April 2nd. The next night will be the championship ring presentations.

Just to give you an idea of what each is like, look at this clip from when the Rockets did both on one night back in 1994.

There’s going to be some tears shed and some happy memories. There will also be moments where we can all wish we go back and relive that memory again. Fortunately for us, we might get another chance because our team is expected to be among the favorites to win it again in the near future.
