Houston Astros: Scripting the Movie: Three things you need to know
And they all lived happily ever after…
Now we have to decide how to the film’s ending. The ending has to be such a tear-jerker that everyone will cry. Or maybe 90 percent will cry while everyone will be happy in general. It has to be on the same level as Rudy getting carried off the field or the U.S. Hockey Team standing together on the medal podium pointing one finger saying they were number one.
Move over Rocky winning the title or Jimmy Chitwood hitting the state-championship buzzer-beater. Sorry Permian for your defeat in the end. Why not play catch with your dad in Field of Dreams?
I’m spoiling movie endings, aren’t I? You didn’t see any of these films.
I can only think of three options for the perfect ending.

The Astros championship parade with fans cheering their heroes uniting a city together.
So we have so many endings that we can decide for the movie. But in the end, the real ending is that we have a story to tell about where we were the night the Astros won it all. We have a story to tell about the two months prior to that night. Our story has JJ Watt and Jose Altuve as the heroes as well as the supporting cast. It has hell and heaven all at once. We may have gotten knocked down, but we do have the heart of a champion because we refused to give up.

Conclusion
Ultimately, this film will take a long time to make or be in production. We might have to wait years before something comes out of this. Even so, we really don’t need a dramatic film for everyone to see because we saw it with our own eyes. I was just throwing in ideas for the film and what it would look like. Although I do wish it came out really soon, we won the Academy Award already for best film.
Now, if only we had a title. Houston Strong or is that getting too old? Any ideas?
