2014 NBA Draft: Players The Houston Rockets Should Consider At #25

In the upcoming 2014 NBA draft the Houston Rockets currently hold the 25th selection in the 1st round.

Much has been and will be made in the coming weeks regarding the Rockets pursuit of another star player via trade or free agency. There is the chance that in doing so the Rockets could trade the 1st round pick prior to the draft. There is always the possibility that they could trade during the draft, either up or down.

Whether the Rockets add another star this off-season or not, a team with a couple max contracts must balance their team payroll with relatively inexpensive young players to fill the other roles.

The Rockets should and will seek to fill as many spots around their stars as they can with players that can play good defense and/or shoot well from 3 point range.
