It is hard to blame Houston Texans fans for having a bit of paranoia when it comes to the health of quarterback C.J. Stroud. Already, the team has reason for concern with Joe Mixon showing up to OTAs in a walking boot. Despite this, the injury has been deemed "minor." This has allowed Houston fans to focus a portion of their concern on whether or not Stroud is truly healthy. If there is any hope of this team contending in the far superior conference, it is all on the shoulders of the young franchise star.
The Texans have put together an extremely impressive defensive core, however, it isn't going to be enough to take down the giants in the AFC. For the Texans to reach the hoped-for potential, C.J. Stroud must remain healthy and be able to take a meaningful step forward. All of this adds up to Houston fans having a healthy level of concern for the franchise star. With this in mind, fans can breathe a sigh of relief after Stroud's latest public appearance.
C.J. Stroud Eases all Injury Concerns, Shooting Baskets Appearing Fully Healthy

Stroud appeared at a charity event and was on court putting up shots ahead of the event. The quarterback looked perfectly healthy, taking jump shots from outside the three-point line and moving without any concern or obvious discomfort. The fact that the franchise star was on the court shooting at all is telling.
The quarterback isn't going to risk an injury or be on the court if there was any level of serious concern. It is a decision that should ease all the worries that the team might be dealing with a serious injury to the quarterback. Stroud is fine and will be ready for the 2025 season.
For fans doubting this, the video serves as evidence of the quarterback's health and the reason why concerns should be put to the side. With that said, the Texans should still be extremely careful with Stroud throughout the summer and into the preseason. One mistake and the season is sunk after a solid 2025 offseason. The Texans don't have any reason for concern just yet, but they should continue to keep a close eye on their franchise star.
