The Houston Texans are preparing for a critically important season with their relatively new regime in 2025 following a decent yet unspectacular season. Houston made the playoffs and won a game, yet it never truly felt like the organization was truly on the verge of a Super Bowl appearance.

Continuing to build around rising star QB C.J. Stroud is of the utmost importance, though it's also critical to make sure players are happy. That not only helps you retain current members of the team, yet also assists in drawing in potential free agents.

Fortunately for the franchise and fans hoping to see a real winner, the Texans announced a big update that players have been asking for of late.

Texans Announce Sauna is Returning to NRG Stadium in 2025

According to Houston general manager Nick Caserio, the Texans are bringing a sauna back to NRG Stadium. Players are happy and the news came as a direct result from the annual NFL PA survey.

This is a notch in owner Cal McNair's belt, as he's listened to a direct request and made it happen in short order. Obviously, performing on the field carries much more significance than a sauna, though these small details help prove that you're a top-tier organization which should be taken seriously.

Houston has long been mired in misery, suffering through repeated disastrous seasons just hoping for some sort of spark. Stroud is the bright light of the future, but it's clear that the Texans have to continue to build around him and find him a strong supporting cast. This is only one step, yet it's a big one nonetheless.

Now, the organization has to prove its mettle in free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft. The Texans are kings of the pathetic AFC South, though things changed quickly in this league and they have to continue to make moves like this to hold pole position.

Cheers to a sauna and here's hoping it brings a free agent or two on board.
