The Houston Texans haven't stayed quiet this offseason after getting eliminated in the divisional round for the second straight year.

They have made a flurry of trades, one that included acquiring safety CJ Gardner-Johnson from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for guard Kenyon Green.

That move looks like a win for the Texans based on the production of these two players but we still have to see how they perform on the field in 2025. With the trade approaching a month since it happened, Gardner-Johnson seems to be pissed off with some members of the Eagles organization.

In an Instagram post, Gardner-Johnson wrote, "People showed me their true colors when I got traded. That’s why you haven’t heard from me."

While we have no idea who he's actually talking about, he's clearly annoyed with some within the Eagles building. Whether that's players, coaches, or members of the front office, Gardner-Johnson left on bad terms with someone.

The Florida product is known for being a high-energy and emotional player. He had two different stints with Philadelphia but neither of them lasted more than one season. No one knows exactly why that happened but that is in the rearview mirror for Gardner-Johnson now.

The 27-year-old is a rangy defender over the top with the ability to come down and make stops in the run game. Last season for Philadelphia, he logged 59 total tackles, 12 pass deflections, and six interceptions.

According to PFF, he posted a 76 overall grade (21st among 171 graded safeties) and an 82.6 coverage (8th among 171 graded safeties). Gardner-Johnson will help elevate this Texans secondary in 2025.

Despite not knowing what someone within the Eagles organization did to him, it looks like he'll be playing with a chip on his shoulder to show Philadelphia they made the wrong decision to trade him.
