Kevin Durant has taken his talents to the Houston Rockets now that the trade has been finalized, and the basketball world is eagerly anticipating what this team will look like now that the future Hall of Fame forward has been added to the fold.

Training camp is still two months away from opening, so Rockets fans hoping for their first glimpse of Durant in action as part of Houston's roster will have to wait just a little while longer, but that time will arrive before we know it.

If Rockets fans are willing to take head coach Ime Udoka's word for it, which they have little reason not to following his success leading the roster this past season, Durant is going to be the perfect fit in Houston and should just raise the team to new heights.

Udoka Makes First Remarks on Kevin Durant's Seamless Fit With Rockets

As Rockets fans would expect, Udoka is very pleased to be coaching Durant moving forward. Despite his patented reserved and even-keeled demeanor, Udoka had nothing but positive things to say about the impact the former MVP will have on this roster and what he'll do to raise the level of play from top to bottom in Houston.

"All the things that everybody knows about already," Udoka replied to Rockets sideline reporter Vanessa Richardson. "Obviously, one of the best scorers we've had in this game for a long time. Very competitive player. More of what we have already. Like Coach said, played against him a ton. Coached against him a ton. So, we know all about him. The things you don't see is behind the scenes, leadership in his own ways. Work ethic is tremendous. But he just raises the level of your team overall, so he'll fit right in seamlessly and add to what we're already doing."

With several of the centerpieces from last year's roster still in place, along with the other newcomers joining Durant in Houston, the potential is there for the Rockets to have a very special season as the franchise looks to lay claim to the Larry O'Brien Trophy for the first time since 1995 and raise a third championship banner at the Toyota Center.

If Durant can help get that done in Houston, he will add to what is already a lengthy and storied legacy.
