Houston Texans: Will Fuller’s status against Colts is hanging by a thread
Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller was expected to be available but his status now hangs onto a thread with a hamstring injury. What’s going on?
Houston Texans fans — after that debacle of a loss against the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday, the team has to quickly rebound to be able to get an important win over a division rival which is set for tonight.
They’ll be facing a familiar foe in the Indianapolis Colts in their last meeting as the winner of this game could have serious implications on who will be presumptive representative as a division winner of the AFC South.
I cannot stress enough in regard to how important it is for the Houston Texans to win this game tonight, especially with it being on their home turf. If they win, this increases the chances of their postseason eligibility and we can start having discussions on what will be an arduous road to reach the ultimate goal of getting to the AFC Championship Game.
I have to be realistic when setting expectations when assessing the talent in the conference and I think getting to the final game before the Super Bowl is one of those types of expectations. If this team is fully healthy, it’s loaded with talent and I’d pit it against anybody.
But with my habits of doing too much overshadowing early-in, let’s just get back to the business of winning this game first as they still have a whole lot of football to play.

of wide receiver Will Fuller, who could miss his fourth straight game with a hamstring injury.
The passing game hasn’t necessarily suffered much with Kenny Stills being able to fill the order effectively along with Keke Coutee and to a lesser extent, DeAndre Carter.
However, you know how explosive this offense would be with Will Fuller in the fold, he’d totally open up the field and possibilities would be endless with DeAndre Hopkins, as well as Darren Fells, being incredible weapons to score touchdowns.
But Fuller has been deemed a game-time decision so we’ll have to see if he’s available to play tonight. It’s hard to project Fuller’s status but I’m leaning toward him not be available to get an additional week of rest.
This all hinges on T.Y. Hilton‘s status — who has continuously destroyed the Houston Texans over the years — which remains uncertain as well.
Whatever way you slice it, the Houston Texans MUST win this game so they’ve got to get it done!
Fuller has caught 34 balls for 450 yards — 13.2 yards per catch — off 49 targets along with three touchdowns and a 69.4 catch percentage through seven starts this season.
