Starting 5: Chris Paul, James Harden, Danuel House, PJ Tucker, Clint Capela

Four out of these five probably aren’t surprising to you but, one of them may. Danuel House and the Houston Rockets have battled internally over compensation and duration which has caused him to fluctuate between the G-League and the NBA.

However, whenever he is up in the NBA, House has been a phenomenal player for the Rockets. He is an ideal player for what this team wants to do. He is big and long which allows him to play stout defense and cover multiple positions. House is also shooting an outstanding .412 from three.

So, having him in the starting lineup with these other four guys seems like the perfect recipe for success come playoff time. His versatility and spot-up three ability are ideal fits for the starting five. Chris Paul and James Harden are two of the best drivers and distributors in the NBA and both thrive with guys hovering along the three-point line.

Danuel House is a key ingredient for a championship. light. Also

Harden is in the midst of another MVP caliber season and has carried this team throughout the season at an insane usage rate yet shows no signs of slowing down. Paul has battled some injuries but is finally really hitting his stride.

P.J. Tucker, of course, helps anchor a defense that has been performing pretty well these past couple of weeks. He, alongside House, provide great versatility on the wings that allows Clint Capela to lock down the post and Paul to lock up the best guard.

This is a very good starting five that should give every other team in the playoffs fits. From top to bottom it is dangerous and versatile. House is the only guy in danger of not starting come playoff time but to me, he better fits in here than he does off the bench and the other option for the starting lineup seems to be a better fit off of the bench.
