The NFL Draft is one month away from today. Let’s take a look at who the Houston Texans may select in all seven rounds of the draft.

The new league year for the NFL has been around for about two weeks. There has been a lot of money thrown around at free agents while some crazy trades involving two of the best receivers in the league in Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham.

The Houston Texans have been pretty active over these first two weeks of free agency as well. They haven’t gone out and just thrown money around like some may have wanted to do but, they have made some very solid additions at a good value.

They started off with bolstering the secondary that lost Tyrann Mathieu and Kareem Jackson with Tashaun Gipson, Bradley Roby, and Briean Boddy-Calhoun. Following those three additions, the Texans also have Darren Fells to provide a blocking presence at the tight end position, A.J. McCarron to back up Deshaun Watson, and Matt Khalil to strengthen the offensive line.

It hasn’t been a flashy offseason but has been pretty solid and cost-effective. The Texans have filled several holes on both sides of the ball that will allow the team to pursue the players that they covet most and think are the best when their picks roll around.

The Houston Texans have seven selections overall. The only round they do not pick in is the fourth round. Brian Gaine had a pretty successful draft in his first go-round but his second will be key to determining the long term potential of this team. So, let’s take a look at how it might go down.
