10. . WR. (2003-14). Andre Johnson. 2. player

Andre Johnson was the first truly great player to put on a Texans uniform. The team selected him third overall in their second-ever draft out of The University of Miami. He instantly became a fan favorite and a successful receiver.

More from House of Houston

Johnson was a Houston sports icon, the first football icon since the likes of Warren Moon in the Houston Oilers days.

He spent 12 phenomenal years in Houston and has come out them as one of the best receivers to ever do it. For his Texans career, Johnson had 13,597 yards on 1,012 catches to go with 64 touchdowns.

His total career yardage ranks 11th all-time behind former division rival Reggie Wayne by 160 yards. He is in no danger of falling down this list, as the closest and most likely guy to do this is Antonio Brown, currently ranked 34th.

Additionally, Johnson led the league in yards on two occasions in 2008 and 2009. He also led the league in receptions on two occasions in 2006 and 2008. Johnson is bound for Canton. His touchdowns may not allow him to be a first ballot guy, but he will wind up there eventually.

As the icing on the cake, one of my favorite football memories is Johnson beating the absolute crud out of Cortland Finnegan, who was one of my least favorite players. He got ejected from the game, but it was definitely an iconic Houston sports moment.
