If you were wondering where the swagger is at on this list, you’ve finally come to it. Dunta Robinson played with a ton of swag and the let the whole world know about it. He would be a perfect personality in today’s NFL.
However, he isn’t playing in today’s NFL. He played for the Texans for six seasons from 2004 to 2009 after he was drafted 10th overall. Robinson was a stud coming out of South Carolina and gave the team a future at the cornerback position.
His tenure with the Texans ended abruptly after some failed contract negotiations. Most will recall this when they recollect Robinson, especially the cleats he wore to training camp that famously said “Pay me, Rick” on the back of them.
Still, Robinson was a stud for the six years he was in Houston. He started 79 of a possible 84 games, while completely locking down his side of the field. He intercepted 13 passes, forced six fumbles and deflected 63 passes. His rookie year was his best, he had three picks, three sacks and 19 passes deflected.
