The Houston Rockets have played a nice stretch of games despite the challenges of not having Chris Paul, Eric Gordon and now Clint Capela for stretches. It has all been on the shoulders of James Harden, who’s terrific heroics have helped this team remain competitive.
Harden has partaken in 12 games with 40+ minutes to his credit so far this season, including three of the last five. Harden has four 50+ point games of which two of those four have come within the past five games.
We’ve been watching some amazing basketball out of the Beard but there’s simply no way he can keep this up, yet be fresh for the postseason, to which the ultimate goal is to beat the Golden State Warriors.

In the meantime, the Houston Rockets have signed veteran forward Kenneth Faried, who will be waived by the Brooklyn Nets so that he can be signed by the Houston Rockets sometime next week, hopefully by Monday.
