In a nutshell

Obviously the season wasn’t perfect. The Houston Texans had a lot of lucky wins and undeserved losses. All the hype of playoffs came to an end quickly.

But there are positives as well.  They did somehow get 11 wins and Watson got a full season under his belt. We saw a fantastic comeback season from Watt and DeAndre Hopkins looked better than ever.

In the grand scheme of things, the team they have right now will never win it all unless crucial changes are made. There needs to be an improved offensive line, secondary and the coaching staff needs to be re-evaluated.

These changes need to happen at some point, right?  I hope so.

Next. Five candidates for offensive coordinator. dark

Although it’s likely imminent, tweaks need to be made or it could result in a downturn next season because the team is expected to have a much-tougher schedule. Eventually O’Brien’s luck will run out so he’s going to have to modify the game plan.

I recommend that we take this season as something to learn from and look toward the next. That’s frankly what any positive fan and/or player should do.
