A Very Long Closing Statement

I’ll admit I was a little bit upset and short towards the end. Hilton and Luck always put me in a bad mood, so let me end with some positive and realistic light here. This game won’t be perfect. Shocker.

There will most likely be penalties on the Houston Texans, maybe turnovers, and they might be down most of the game, I don’t freakin’ know. But the difference between a good team and a great team is how they handle the outcomes of the tough parts of games. Tough parts may include a huge difference in offense or turnovers or defense and still finding a way to pull off a victory.

More from House of Houston

I sure as hell feel like the Houston Texans found a way to win more times than we needed to. I mean at the end of the day, we did win 11 out of 16 games. Something went right. Going from one of the worse seasons in franchise history to one of the better years within one offseason isn’t bad at all. And we did have a 9 game win streak after starting 0-3.

Let’s suppose the worst-case scenario is happening. The Texans are losing the penalty, turnover, and field position battles. They’ll be down, but certainly not out and that is for one simple reason, DW4.

This kid is a freak when it comes to winning. No matter what the score is, never give up on this squad. It took me until the Eagles game to realize it, and even though they lost, Watson did his job to bring the team right back in it.

Watson shines brightly when the moment matters most, and you better bet he will show up ready to go. No matter how bleak things can look at times, I am quite confident #4 can pull the Texans through almost any situation, especially come playoff time.

Next. New Year's wishes for all Houston sports teams. dark

Watson can carry the Houston Texans through any situation, but there would hopefully be no need to do it as this team still has more than the needed capability to get out of Round One. This team is Super Bowl potential, and if you want to prove me wrong give it your best shot.
