The holiday season has arrived and everyone has a list of things they want. Here are the five things that sit atop the Houston Texans Christmas wish list.

What a season it has been for the Houston Texans. After a terrible 0-3 start, fans and media alike were ready to crucify every aspect of the team. They appeared to be all the hype without the production. The season was a loss before we were even halfway to the bye week.

Then, an overtime battle with the Colts helped turn the entire season around. All this Texans team needed was one win under their belts to jump-start the season. The city of Houston was in football nirvana for the next 10 weeks as the team ripped off nine wins in a row and proved to the rest of the league that they were legit.

Then, week fourteen rolled around and brought the Texans into another matchup with the team that started the streak, the Colts. The battle was pretty much as fast and furious as the first matchup of the season except this team, instead of continuing the streak they helped start, the Colts broke the Texans nine-game winning streak.

So here we sit, the Houston Texans are 9-4 and first place in the AFC South with a two-game lead. A lot will have to go wrong for the Texans to not make the playoffs this season and a lot could go well and they could end up with a first-round bye in the playoffs. All in all, the team is likely looking, at least, at their first double-digit win season since 2012.

The least I can say is it has been an exciting season so far and looks to remain so for at least another month or so. But, as we head into this holiday season, there is plenty to wish for in regards to this Texans team for the present and future. So, let’s take a look at the top five things atop the team’s Christmas wish list.
