The Houston Rockets have a gem on their hands with Gary Clark, an undrafted free agent. Here’s three reasons why he should start immediately. Take a look.

The Houston Rockets have won six out of their last eight games and they seem to be back on track based off their strong performance in a 106-87 rout of the Golden State Warriors this past Thursday.

They definitely emanated the team of old as they were able to move the basketball around efficiently, nail a decent percentage of their threes and they were able to put the clamps on defense when things counted the most.

This is what Houston Rockets fans were counting on before the start of the season but somehow they had lost their way.  I won’t completely blame it on Carmelo Anthony as far as the reason but he truly was a bad fit for this team.

There’s no room for his ego and it was good that the Houston Rockets decided to cut ties with Melo for the betterment of the team.

Now that’s all over, let’s direct our attention to one of the greatest success stories of this season thus far — the emergence of Gary Clark.

Clark, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati, has clawed his way into the rotation by doing everything he has been asked to do and more.

He has played so well that I think the Houston Rockets need to make a decision and insert Clark into the starting lineup.

Why?  Let’s take a look at three reasons as to why this must happen.
