Houston Texans: Three reasons why Kareem Jackson will be a Pro-Bowler
Houston Texans safety/cornerback Kareem Jackson has been sensational for the team this season. Here’s three reasons why he’ll be selected to the Pro Bowl.
The Houston Texans continue to ascend their standing in the AFC as all they’re doing as of late is winning football games. Some of these wins may not be the prettiest but as long as numbers continue to compile under the “W” column, that’s all that matters.
The Houston Texans were lucky to reel off their sixth-straight last Sunday as it was off a technicality as long-time Denver Broncos placekicker Brandon McManus missed a 51-yarder wide right as time expired.
Case Keenum as well as Vance Joseph likely could’ve gotten them a bit closer with some different schemes but kudos to the Houston Texans defense for pulling out all of the stops to ensure that they kept the Broncos honest if they were to prevail.
But let’s talk about a guy that has invoking tremendous dividends in secondary with his high level of play this season. It’s not by accident — his commitment to excellence has been a notion to revel this season with the outstanding play he has emanated so far.
So who am I talking about?
It’s none other than Kareem Jackson, whom just last season, many of us were wondering if he had lost a step and that the Houston Texans may have to start finding replacement for him soon.
That’s simply not the case as Jackson is making strong case to not only be re-signed by the Houston Texans but to be nominated to his Pro Bowl of his career.
Let’s take a look as to why.
