The Houston Texans 2018 season has been tumultuous at best and Bill O’Brien is the scapegoat. Here are four things that will drive you crazy about him.

I remember when the Houston Texans went 2-14.  It was a time when Matt Schaub fell in love with throwing Pick-6’s and Case Keenum didn’t win a game despite strong support of the fan base the same one where a majority wanted Gary Kubiak fired.

Yep, horrible times, horrible times.

The Houston Texans had plenty of rebuilding to do. The Texans had gone from their best season in franchise history to their worst, all in the matter of a one-year span.  Many wanted quarterback situation resolved, which would mask/fix the other problems this team had.  Unfortunately, I was one of those people. But first thing’s first, the Houston Texans needed a coach, so they go out and hire this dude named Bill O’Brien.

I will never ever forget my reaction to the news: “Who the hell is that?”

Going into his 5th year with the Houston Texans, Bill O’Brien has given fans a pretty good measure in where he stands on the scale. While many had him on the hot seat after going 0-3, the seat under O’Brien has cooled down a little bit after four straight wins. One could easily argue that some of those wins weren’t deserved, so should he still be here? Or were the wins caused because O’Brien was able to close out games despite any circumstance?
