Houston Texans: The giveaways fans could receive in the 2018 season

The Houston Texans have won their first game in nearly one year. What kind of free stuff do fans get to sink their teeth on? Let’s take a look and find out.

The Houston Texans are winners and it’s been quite a long time since we’ve said that.  With the team finishing 4-12 last season and this season starting at an 0-3 skid, the losing streak had somehow piled up to nine games in a row.

I really wasn’t counting the streak last season because I knew it was over after Deshaun Watson had suffered a season-ending injury to his ACL.  But now that key guys are healthy and ready for this season and they were still losing games, it certainly was a cause of concern.

We’ve pointed the fingers anywhere from the players being rusty to the coaching staff not having the goods to ensure that they’re prepared for each and every game.  It could be very well all of the aforementioned but the main thing is that they were able to go out and accomplish a goal that seemed to be quite difficult to accomplish — getting their first win in a long time.

Mind you, it was one of the ugliest wins I’ve ever seen and it was cheaply-handed to the Houston Texans.  The Indianapolis Colts’ head coach Frank Reich decided to wave a white flag in overtime by deciding to go for on 4th-and-4 so he could try to not have the game end in a tie.

It ended up being quite the gift for the Houston Texans and fans will benefit from this win — and any others that follow — so what will us fans receive?

• Firehouse Subs:  More food!  When you buy chips and drink, the delectable sandwich provider is offering you a medium sub for free.  There are specific ones you must choose from and those include: Hook and Ladder, Italian, Meatball and Steamer types.  All you have to do is visit your nearest Firehouse Subs location and wear your Houston Texans gear.  This promo has to redeemed only on the day after the Texans win.

Statistical giveaways not based on wins:

• Jack in the Box:  When the Texans score two touchdowns or more, fans receive a free Monster Taco with their purchase.  All you have to do is say “Touchdown for Tacos” and you’ll be able to take advantage of the offer.  This offer can only be redeemed the day after the Texans win.
