#3 Astros Demolish Dodgers in World Series Rematch

Having encountered arguably the best World Series in recent memory, fans were expecting an encore when the Houston Astros traveled to Los Angeles for a rematch with the Dodgers. Game one was another tight game with the Astros winning 2-1.

People were expecting another thrilling game. But the Astros were without two of their key members in Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa. So basically, it was the Dodgers vs. the Astros’ JV team a bit. But what happened was something no one expected.

It started with a solo shot by Marwin Gonzalez, who Dodger fans have started to hate. But then, it would soon escalate into a barrage of hits and runs. It would also see both Yuli Gurriel and Josh Reddick get revenge on Dodger fans after causing some controversy in the World Series. Even Jake Marisnick showed the Dodgers they were fortunate not to see him on the roster last year because it would’ve been nightmarish for them.

light. Read. Why Tyler White will have longevity with this team

But most importantly, it would show a new side of Astros Nation to the Dodgers, who cowered with fright as the Astros fans were louder than the fans in Blue.

In the end, the final was 14-0 in our favor to put an end to the Dodger Massacre. Collectively, it was a team effort, even for a time when the Astros simply stared down the Dodgers and showed why they were the better team in 2017 and now in 2018. That stare was not a pretty sight for LA. But it got even prettier for the Astros.
