The Bottom Line

These are just the main things that disappointed me when the Houston Texans played. You need to change up the playbook to win, it’s as simple as that. Time management is a weakness of this team and it needs to improve quickly or else it’s going to be this team’s downfall.

Secondly, it’s always a player’s or coach’s job to take the loss and say that they messed up. It isn’t right for somebody, especially the coach, to say something as asinine as, “it’s not my job.”

Everybody likes to blame their losses on the refs, which is bad enough. But it’s worse when you say something that could imply something like, “it isn’t my fault.”

The whole notion is absolutely inexcusable.

Fans who devote their time to a team should never hear these kinds of words. After a loss the best thing to do is be humble, take the blame and move on. These are things that a Houston Texan fan should never see again.
