The Houston Texans will have their hands full with the large amount of pass rushers on the Tennessee Titans defense. Here are three to keep an eye on.

The Houston Texans will face the Tennessee Titans for the first time this season and it will be on the road at Nissan Stadium.  You know, it feels funny for the team to start out the season on the road like this as they’ve usually partaken in their home opener by now.  But I’ll take the good with the peculiar as they’ll be back at NRG Stadium next week.

The last time these two teams met back in November, one team was surging for their first playoff berth in goodness knows how long and the one team was already looking at what fortune would next season would bring.  I’m sure you can fill in the blanks there.

Deshaun Watson was lost for the season after injuring his ACL in practice amid a spectacular performance against the Seattle Seahawks in late October.  Tom Savage was given the reins of the offense and by then, we already knew he wasn’t the answer but just biding time until the season ended for good so that the Houston Texans could turn the page from him.

That page has fortunately turned quite rapidly with Watson in solid health and the Houston Texans one-time defensive coordinator MIke Vrabel taking the Titans’ head coaching job for the ousted Mike Murlarkey.  It will be an interesting matchup as these two proteges of the Bill Belichick-machine otherwise known as the New England Patriots will square off with each other in Sunday’s tilt.

I expect to see a little sloppiness but this may be an excellent battle of two great defenses with the Houston Texans having more of an edge with their depth.

But anyway, we know who to look for in terms of who will show out on our defensive line but what about the Titans?  Let’s examine who are the top three Titans’ pass rushers to keep an eye for this upcoming matchup.
