The 2018 postseason roster for the Houston Astros figures to look something like this:

- DH Tyler White
- SS Carlos Correa
- 1B Yuli Gurriel
- LF Marwin Gonzalez
- C Brian McCann
- RF Josh Reddick
- Bench: Evan Gattis, Tony Kemp, Martin Maldonado
Noticeably, I put Carlos Correa down in the 5-hole clearly because of how much he has not been able to really fully come back from his back injury. He and White are interchangeable in this particular scenario.
Obviously, this is not set in stone by any of the decision makers. If the team decides to carry a 13th position player, I can see Jake Marisnick easily getting it as a late-inning defensive substitution. This is because Tyler White possesses the same kind of field versatility that Marwin Gonzalez does. In turn, this could open the DH spot back up again for Evan Gattis.
All in all, a lot of tough decisions will be made. But this figures to be pretty close to what we will see in the playoffs.
