1. Can the defense shut down the GOAT and the Pats offense?

Whether you like it or not, Tom Brady is the greatest QB in NFL history and in the case of the Texans, stopping him is the hardest task to handle if they want to win Sunday.

Against the Texans in his career, he is 9-1 and 3 of those wins are against Bill O’Brien led teams, his one loss was 8 years ago and that was at NRG Stadium under Gary Kubiak. BY FAR, this is the best Texans squad he will ever face and could be his last considering his age.

J.J. Watt and the rest of the pass rushers should have a field day with the Pats O-Line, they are incredibly weak and a major downgrade from last year. The Pats O-Line situation is simply a mess. The organization decided to let Cameron Fleming walk to the Cowboys, Nate Soldier walk to the Giants, and now Isaiah Wynn who was a 1st round pick for them is out for the season from an injury.

If you thought the Texans O-Line was bad last year, this Pats team might beat them out in terms of how bad they are. The main question up in Boston right now is how are they gonna protect Brady this season. If you are a Pats fan, you definitely don’t want to hear that especially when you are facing a monster defense like the Texans.

Let’s take a look out the outside, the Pats will not have Julian Edelman this game because he is serving his suspension. Their main target this week at WR is Chase Hogan who absolutely owned the Texans secondary in last years preseason and regular season game. Outside of Hogan at WR and Gronk at TE, there isn’t really anyone else which is why you can expect big things from the Texans secondary on Sunday.

To answer my question, yes I think we can shut them down due to the lack of playmakers the Patriots have.
