The Houston Texans will officially kick off their 2018 Regular Season at the home of the GOAT as they travel up to Foxborough, Massachusetts to take on the Patriots in a rematch from last season’s nail-biter. What do we expect to see Sunday?

We are finally here y’all, the start of the regular season for the Texans. Many fans have been waiting since last November for this day considering that is about the time where Deshaun Watson went down with an ACL tear and the 2017 season was pretty much over at that point.

Right out of the gate, the Texans start off facing the Patriots, a team that is much weaker compared to last years AFC representative in the Super Bowl. I will address that aspect later.

Since the end of the 2018 season, the hype train for the Texans has become absolutely massive. One of the biggest supporters of this team is former NFL WR Nate Burleson, who appears on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. Weirdly, the entire Good Morning Football team is very high on these Texans. Check it out here.

So with the hype train chugging along, it is easy for us fans and even the locals of Houston to get really excited about this season. In all my life of being a fan, I cannot remember a time where the Texans were highly featured on all national sports media talk shows.

But we gotta slow down, these are the New England Patriots we are facing. The Texans have never won a game in Boston, that could change Sunday. Here are my 3 things to watch for in Sunday’s game and my one player to watch.
