The Houston Texans will square off against the New England Patriots on Sunday at noon. It’ll be a tough matchup but, these three guys, in particular, will give the Texans a hard time.

The Houston Texans will make their season premiere Sunday at 12:00 p.m. central time against the Patriots. The game will be aired locally on CBS, channel 11. You can also listen to the game on 610 AM and 100.3 The Bull.

Bill O’Brien and Romeo Crennel have both coached under Bill Belichick. A lot of the players on the Patriots offense played underneath O’Brien when he was there. So, the history there adds a lot of intrigue.

The last time these two teams squared off was in week three of the 2017 season. The Texans gave them fits all four quarters but, the Patriots escaped with a 36-33 victory. Though the Texans lost, it served as a coming out party for Deshaun Watson.

Tom Brady might be the best quarterback to ever play the game. On the Texans side, Watson is one of the top up-and-coming quarterbacks in the league. So, both offenses are sure to be high powered and a lot of fun to watch.

The Texans should field the better defense of the two teams. Bringing guys back from injury and fielding the guys that they added should help bring this defense back to prominence. Getting Romero Crennel back on the sideline also helps.

Brady will obviously give the Texans defense fits but, what fun would that be if we dove into that here. So, let’s take a look at three others guys that could potentially give the Texans a hard time on Sunday afternoon.
