Final Record

As all of our votes rolled in, we simply could not agree on how the Houston Texans season was going to go. So, the list of predicted records is below with a small blurb on each.

7 – 9

The Texans are a much-improved team but, they’ll struggle to shake off the rust. They’ll also struggle against what very well may be the strongest division, top to bottom, in football.

8 – 8

The Texans have a few tough road games where that the team may not be able to overcome, like the Patriots and Eagles. That coupled with a tough division will make it hard for the team to escape the season with a winning record.

9 – 7

The Texans will be vastly improved from last season and won’t suffer the same injury bugs they dealt with last year. The accomplish another 9-7 season under O’Brien and sneak into the playoffs as the final Wild Card.

10 – 6

This season will be the first time the Texans climb into the double-digit win category since 2011. They’ll make their way into the playoffs and could surprise as Super Bowl contenders.

11 – 5

The Texans will have a great season with a fully healthy team but, the Jaguars will remain the tops in the division and the Texans will make the playoffs as a strong Wild Card.

12 – 4

Everything goes right for the Texans this season. The team stays healthy, Watt emerges as a DPOY candidate again, Watson thrives and morphs into an MVP candidate, and the Texans win the division.
