Game of the Year: 10/7 Cowboys @ Texans (5 votes)
Others receiving votes: 12/23 Texans @ Eagles (1 vote)
The vast majority of us are looking forward the matchup with the Cowboys at the beginning of October. The Texans and Cowboys don’t get to see each other too often the regular season. This I-45 showdown is sure to be a great one.
By the time October comes around, any rust the Houston Texans may experience should be shaken off. Watson, Watt, Mercilus, and Clowney should all be moving at 100% after their various injuries. This team should be exciting to watch come October.
The Cowboys look like they might be heading into a down year but, they could also as easily have a good year. Dak Prescott had a down year last season and is hoping to bounce back. Ezekiel Elliot will look to continue to build upon his legacy this year. Their defense also has intriguing potential. So, this should be a great matchup of a good ole Texas rivalry.
The matchup with the Eagles will also be one watch come December. After winning the Super Bowl last year, the Eagles are fielding largely the same team. If all works out for the Texans, this could be a matchup of playoff teams.
