Derek Fisher, OF

Derek Fisher, like several guys on this team, and even this list, have spent time with the big league club this year. He is an outstanding athlete and becomes one of, if not the, fastest guy on the team when he’s up.

George Springer has obviously been banged up this month and is still missing time, this time with a strained groin. Jake Marisnick is also still out. Fisher could come in and provide a solid bat when he’s on and consistent, excellent defense.

Fisher can play all three outfield spots and the team could use the depth to make sure all of the studs and regular starters are healthy and rearing to go for the postseason.

Cionel Perez, LHP

Cionel Perez had his first cup of the with the Houston Astros twice, sort of. He was called up over the summer but only ever warmed up before being sent back down. He was recalled until recently pitching a few times.

He’s done fairly well in his transition to the bullpen as he was/is a starter in the minor leagues. Perez has excellent stuff, especially for a small guy. He could come in a provide another option out of the bullpen in September as the Astros look to lock down the AL West.
