RDE: Christian Covington

Covington is one of my favorite players on this team. He is a steady grinder along this defensive front. He is surprisingly strong and quick. He eats up a lot of space and provides very solid run defense and does great clean up work on the pass rush.

NT: DJ Reader

Reader is an up and coming star at the nose tackle position. He can take up three blockers in the run game and is too quick to just have a single blocker on him in the passing game. He is a disruptive monster up the middle.

LDE: JJ Watt

I fully expect JJ to be back to his normal dominant self this year for the Houston Texans. He may not be the best defender in the game anymore but, he definitely have double-digit sacks and provide than strong, energetic presence the team lacked last year.

Reserves: Carlos Watkins, Joel Heath

Watkins and Heath both have the capability to back up all three spots along this defensive line. They both have great size and athleticism that will play well in spurts this year for this team. If you need some encouragement in regards to these two, check out this play Watkins made against the 49ers.
