Houston Sports: How these teams can unlock Bud Light Victory Fridges
By David Graf
Houston Rockets
The Rockets are the probably the Houston sports team with the least amount of stuff to prove. They were oh so close to knocking off the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Western Conference Finals last season. They were leading 3-2 in the series and one Chris Paul hamstring injury away from a berth in the NBA Finals against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rockets probably needed a few cold ones to forget how close they came, but the front office decided that they will run things back with mostly the same core. Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute are the only two guys not returning.
The team added Carmelo Anthony and James Ennis to have some different flavor on the wing from last year. Melo should add some more offensive oomph that Ariza did and Ennis should be better than LMM was.
The Golden State Warriors added DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, which will make toppling them even tougher than it already was. Plus, LeBron James decided to enter the fray in the Western Conference by signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.
As a result, Houston Rocket fans should be rewarded with free Bud Lights if the Rockets are able to knock the Golden State Warriors out of the playoffs next season. Here’s hoping that the Warriors don’t win another title, and the Rockets can be the ones to knock them off the mountaintop!
Unfortunately, Bud Light doesn’t appear to be making this free beer a thing in every major sports city. But, if they did, this what our Houston sports teams would have to accomplish to unlock them. Here’s to hoping they can do it without the motivation of free beer!
