While he’s not even a free agent yet, Carmelo Anthony to the Houston Rockets is all but done. What will the rotation look like when he’s officially added? Let’s take a look.

The trade for Carmelo Anthony from the Thunder to the Hawks became official yesterday. It’s only a matter of time that Melo inks a deal with the Houston Rockets. He reportedly is set to sign a deal for the veteran’s minimum as soon as he clears waivers.

Once he signs, Mike D’Antoni will have to figure out the rotation. Melo has made it known previously that he didn’t want to come off of the bench. However, no such declaration has been made this time around.

So, it’ll be interesting to see how this roster and rotation shape out. At this time, it is highly unlikely that the Houston Rockets will add anyone else this offseason. Unless you count Clint Capela but, he’s basically back regardless of what deal he comes on.

For the sake of simplicity and how this offense runs, I’ll be using the three position model rather than the five so, center, forward, forward, guard, guard. This will also take a look at the potential depth chart for the season. Without further adieu, let’s take a look at the rotation!
