The city needs them now more than ever.

More from House of Houston

The ‘Stros made H-Town proud in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The Houston Rockets have the chance to do the same following the travesty at Santa Fe High School. Both teams are competing for what feels like is something bigger than themselves.

When teams have these kinds of opportunities, they seem to come up with out of body performances. The Astros lifted the city up when it was down, and the Rockets have the chance to do the same.

There is still work to be done for the Houston Rockets, and plenty of drama remains. It won’t get any easier for them on Thursday in Game 5 back at the Toyota Center. Harden and co. will have to keep showing shades of the 2017 ‘Stros if they want to reach the NBA Finals.
