No teams were going to roll over for the regular season champs.

This Western Conference Finals matchup against these Warriors feels like the American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees.

The Houston Astros had never won a World Series until 2017, but the Yankees have 27. The Astros didn’t feel like the team to prevent them from a World Series berth against the Chicago Cubs or Los Angeles Dodgers. They were the David to the Yankees Goliath.

The Houston Rockets are led by a duo without much postseason success. CP3 had not reached the Conference Finals until now, and this has been where Harden has disappeared.

The Warriors have won two of the last three NBA titles. Some might say are destined to meet LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the fourth time in the NBA Finals. If the Rockets can overcome the Warriors, the sky is the limit just like it was for the ‘Stros.
