Then, of course, we have those that are raging in frustration:

To having expectations not being met:

To asking themselves a highly debatable question:

I was going to ask one question here. But I would be called a serial idiot for asking this question again.

Panic Mode, Right?

But the answer to that question at this point has been and always will be:

DEFINITELY NOT!

If at this point, you decide to stop reading this entry, I would recommend you keep reading because I know you’re probably thinking I’m insane for writing this entry at this point.

Yes, I’ve been frustrated by the lack of offense or that Keuchel and McCullers have not been able to live up to their promise so far this season. I’ll take the wins of course, but I know this team can get better and they will get better. But certainly, there is no need for panic. Fortunately, I figured out something that is of an interesting sort.

As of now, we are 9-4 through 13 games in 2018. That’s a good record to have. A lot of teams would kill to have that record right now. Three of the four losses occurred when we only scored one run. Add up the run differentials and it’s a +20 difference.

After 13 games last season, our record was 9-4 and our run differential was +10.

What irony! Even when it seems like our team has struggled offensively from the plate, we have put up bigger margins of victory this season than last.

The only difference was that last season, we went from 4-4 to a five-game winning streak to 9-4. This season, we started 6-1 before splitting our next six games.
