Free agency was EXCITING. The draft is less than a month away!  But, my friends, gridiron action is on the horizon! Take a look below at the Houston Texans’ off season schedule.

Houston Texans players officially report eleven days from now (April 16th)! This off season is particularly exciting because the Texans will be sporting a lot of new players. They will also be returning a lot of key injured players. Even though there won’t be pads involved, it will be great to see Tyrann Mathieu, Aaron Colvin, and Zach Fulton in Texans gear, among others. Seeing JJ Watt, Whitney Mercilus, and Deshaun Watson back in action will also be wonderful.

This will also be the first time that players get to interact with their new coaches. There are eight new coaches on this staff, not including the adjustment of Romeo Crennel back to defensive coordinator.

One of the biggest, least talked about keys to successful organizations is solid strength and conditioning. The Texans brought in Luke Richesson from the Denver Broncos to be their Senior Director of Sports Performance. Phase one of the off season will be extremely important in this regard. Making sure players are in shape and ready for the rest of the off season is of the utmost importance.

Keep navigating through this slideshow and we’ll break down the three phases of the off season.
