Justin Pugh

While I would like to see the team go out and snag stud and former Carolina guard Andrew Norwell, I see that as unlikely. However, getting Justin Pugh would be a terrific “consolation” prize.

The former Giant has hopped back and forth between right tackle and right guard throughout his career. He’s been about a league average right tackle, but has been a tremendous guard. Pugh has ranked in the 80s multiple times throughout his career.

However, Pugh only played in 16 once and that was in his rookie year. So he does come with some injury concerns, but when healthy he is a standout guard.

A lower cost option if the team fails to sign Pugh could be from a division rival. Josh Kline from Tennessee has been a very solid lineman for the Titans. He will be cheaper than Pugh, but Pugh is better.
