Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is grabbing headlines once again but it’s not that he’s ready to return back to the field yet but because he’ll be taking his show on the road.  Where will be headed? Take a look.

The Houston Texans off season for us is about has dead it could possibly be although for Brian Gaine, Bill O’Brien and the rest of the staff, they’re all preparing for the NFL Combine next week in Indianapolis.

I suppose that will be an interesting watch to see what they have their eyes fixated upon to not only meet the current needs of the roster but to provide depth for the future.  All I know is that they better be looking at a solid defensive back and some offensive linemen because that’s where the depth of quality tends to lack in those areas.

There will be no magic bullet to solve the Houston Texans woes of last season but at least we’ll get some insight as to what’s going on as the months progress through this Spring.  But as we’re in this dead spot, Deshaun Watson has been tweeting not so secretly that he’s planning a trip to Germany.

Here’s what he had to say:

This is quite innovative because he’s proven that he possesses star power and can handle extreme situations when the bright lights are on.  After all, he does have a NCAA National Championship

More from House of Houston

under his belt, right?  It’s not only a great way for him to explore the world from beyond the boundaries of the United States but create more awareness of what will be the DW4 brand.

Doesn’t that even have a great ring to it?  DW4.  It sounds like a trendy edition of sneakers that I need to buy or else I severely risk cramping my style.  Although I digress as I’m completely joking, it’s great that he’s doing this and I’m sure he’ll have plenty to talk about in terms of the cultural experience that he will likely have while on the road.

His star is rising as he already has quickly elevated to among tops in jersey sales and it’s only going to get sweeter as time progresses and has a better feel for the pro-style offense.  He certainly is on the trajectory of this notion of him being a franchise quarterback.  We’ll have to see as the sky is the limit to his career.

How awesome is this news?

Watson, 22, passed for 1,699 yards along with 19 touchdowns to eight interceptions and a 81.5 QBR through seven games in 2017. This was before he suffered a season-ending ACL injury ahead of the start of Week 9.

Go Texans.
