Sadly, it’s the San Antonio Spurs… also for now.
Who’s historically the most dominant MLB Team in the state of Texas?
Wait for it…
It’s the Houston Astros.

Lone Star State. Sure, we would like for the Texans to knock off the Cowboys or the Rockets to launch the Spurs off the throne just so we can rule Texas once and for all.
But the reality is that Texas never had a baseball world champion until now. If the Rangers had won either one of their titles, then what were we in Texas for? To be the “baby brother” to the Rangers? No way! We got there first. So, therefore, we deserve the title first.
So yes, Houston winning a championship should not be forgotten by the national media and while we watch other teams celebrate championships, we should be happy for them because they were happy for us when we won. Isn’t that what makes America awesome?
