we knew that if we won the World Series, there would be a bunch of crying fans in Los Angeles and vice versa. But to have someone who played on the losing end to experience reminders of losing entirely while living in Houston is a reminder that we have to be respectful for the losers.
To be honest, if I were living next door to Stripling, I would want to feel bad for him. I would want to say that he did his best to win and if he goes back to the World Series next year and we don’t, then I would want him to win. I think we all would want him to win because Houston is a city that is welcoming of people. We unite in times of trouble. So maybe if we can show respect for him and don’t give him a hard time because he just lost a chance of winning a World Series. He might not get it back. But I sure hope he does.

Maybe it’s just me, but as happy I am that the Astros won the World Series for not only them but for us fans as well, Stripling and maybe Clayton Kershaw are probably the only two Dodger players I feel sorry for the most because one is a future Hall-of-Famer and the other is one of us right now.
