Houston Astros fans — it’s easy when the winner of a World Series gets recognized. People want to simply know what it feels like to be a winner. Even for the city, which you play in, you’re a hero. But what about those that are on the opposite end of the story. What about losing it all? Worse still, what about losing it to a city that has a special place in your heart?
I was writing about another Houston Astros entry, which I was so excited to have it posted online. But somewhere along the way, I caught a glimpse of a tweet that captured my attention. So for now, I’m postponing the entry I was working on to write about this. Don’t worry, I’ll post it soon.
So, Robert Ford, the Houston Astros radio broadcaster tweeted out about one of the Dodgers’ pitchers who is haunted by an event that happened in the World Series. Me being curious and wanting to see what dumb thing the Los Angeles Times says about it since they wrote the article, I decided to have a look.
What I got was an interesting read on one Dodgers pitcher, Ross Stripling, recalls a moment during the World Series that haunts him to this day. I’ll describe it later on here.
