What About The Gift?

I’m getting there peeps.

Anyway, people are buying Houston Astros gear as we speak. From championship hats and t-shirts to autographed baseballs and bases. There are even posters of World Series games, and yes, there is a house with Houston Astros decorations.

But while all these gifts are nice, the one we should be excited about the most is the World Series Film. This is a film that recaps the World Series between the Houston Astros and the Dodgers. We witnessed one of the best World Series ever. Even outsiders can agree.

If you can’t wait until the DVD is released today to relieve the moments once again or have missed the FS1 telecast of it last night, here’s my thoughts below on the movie itself:

What Role Will I Be Today?

You’ve read my articles where I took several roles. I was a counselor when everyone appeared to panic. This author was a military general trying to keep his troops in line when something made me angry. The writer was even a detective trying to solve the mysteries of Houston sports. Today, you’re going to read me as a film critic.

I was fortunate to see the World Series film this past Saturday night. Like everyone who saw it, I was so caught up in the film. I cheered for the Houston Astros when they had their moments. Seeing the games the Dodgers won stunk. There were games where I thought how did we win. You saw plays where it could’ve gone the other way. Even the stories were surreal.

But all the same, I feel I should give you guys an insight on what to expect. That way, you won’t be too disappointed if there was something you wished to see, but it wasn’t there.
