With the Houston Texans season in limbo, it’s time fans need to come to grips with what is really going on. Conspiracy theories are being thrown about while the team has to deal with a little insect known as the injury bug.  I’ve got three of those said theories, take a look at them.

So I’m still on cloud nine after everything that has happened over the past three months. Through thick and thin with an injury or so, Houston is having the best time right now. We are the home of the World Series champion Houston Astros. The Houston Rockets are starting to be a legitimate threat to the Golden State Warriors’ run for a repeat and the Houston Dynamo are making memories much like 2006 and 2007. What can possibly ruin that feeling?

Well, there is a fourth team that is playing. However, unlike the other three teams, they are not having a stellar season.

Show of Hands!

How many people thought the Houston Texans were going to win the Super Bowl this year?

No one thought that, huh?

Okay! How many people thought the Houston Texans weren’t going to win the Super Bowl this year?

We got a couple of hands up in the air. I can tell. Do you want to know what I think of y’all right now?

LIAR! YOU’RE A LIAR! HE’S A LIAR! SHE’S LIAR! MOM’S A LIAR! DAD’S A LIAR! TEACHER’S LIAR! THE NEIGHBOR’S A LIAR!

That’s eight liars plus the number that adds up to however many die-hard Houston Texans fans there are out there.

How Can You Call Us Liars When You Can’t See Us?

I don’t need to see y’all to know you’re lying. You probably didn’t think the Houston Texans weren’t going to the Super Bowl until Deshaun Watson was in the game? When he did show up, you had a change of expectations to the Houston Texans will win it all this year. Even when JJ Watt was lost for the season, there was still a hope amongst you that everything will be fine. In spite of the controversy from Bob McNair’s statement and the Duane Brown trade, you still thought there was a chance.

But then, Watson goes down with an injury that makes his season over. You run into a panic mode. Everything around you starts to shake and you think to yourself my life is over because the Houston Texans won’t win the Super Bowl. You don’t trust Tom Savage as a quarterback. Bill O’Brien must be fired along with Rick Smith. From here on out, an injury to a Houston Texans player will be just another knife to the heart.

The way I see it, you’re not just a liar. You’re a conspiracy theorist.

WHAT?

And I’m going to get to the bottom of all this conspiracy talk. There are three theories that I think need to be addressed here. So don’t even think of going anywhere because this detective is about to crack the case.
