If there is one thing that always annoys me in the off season most, it’s trade and moves speculation. Without a doubt, it is the worst part about being a writer for this sport. Too many what ifs to go around.
Consequently, Evan Gattis keeps being too much of the focus of all these talks. As stated before, I personally find it disrespectful and offensive to someone that not only helped win a championship

I don’t know about you, Houston, but this would be enough for me to want to keep a player around. Perhaps the organization should take things like this into consideration. For some, like Evan Gattis, it really isn’t about the money.

Well, it is, but then it isn’t. He’ll command what is fair and rightfully due to him like anyone else. However, the ownership more than has the means to make this happen. Hopefully, they will make the right decision in this regard.
